Fashion Outlet Halle Leipzig opens

NY & Co. sees outlet channel as key

Outlet pipeline looks robust

   VRN notes that 28 developers are planning to open 45 phase 1 outlet centers by 2018. If all opened, though that’s not likely, they would total more than 15 million sf, averaging 340,750 sf of GLA. Profitability superior in outlet stores, says American Eagle’s CFO

   During the March 2 call with investors, American Eagle CFO Mary Boland talked about the brand’s factory channel of more than 140 U.S. units. “We are seeing a nice improvement in comps.
