Sales jump 10% in Neinver’s outlet portfolio

   Neinver, Europe’s second-largest outlet developer after McArthurGlen, ended FY 2015 with positive results for both foot traffic and sales at the outlet centres it manages in five countries. Total sales for the portfolio surpassed €1.056 billion, a 10 percent increase over 2014, and traffic to the 15 outlet centers in Germany, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Spain, grew by 6 percent to 44.25... more >>



Empire Outlets lands a $21.9 m. subsidy

   BFC Partners’ Empire Outlets, scheduled to open in Staten Island, N.Y., in 2017, received a healthy boost from the state in January. The Empire State Development Corp., which is New York’s chief economic development agency, approved $21.9 million in subsidies to the $304 million project. Simon talks earnings, spending and traffic

   Despite a year that challenged many retailers and shopping center owners, Simon ended 2015 with sturdy numbers, including a total net operating income that increased 7 percent to $5.8 billion. Danielle Devita promoted at Simon Premium Outlets

   Danielle De Vita has been promoted to executive vice president of real estate for Simon Premium Outlets. McArthurGlen launches international ad campaign

   McArthurGlen, Europe’s largest outlet-center owner, developer and manager, is collaborating with Universal Music on a new multi-million dollar international advertising campaign. Michael Kors CEO declares, “stores aren’t going away”

   During the Feb. 2 earnings call to discuss Michael Kors fiscal third quarter, which ended Dec. 26, 2015, investors and analysts asked a number of questions regarding the retailer’s outlet business.
