Simon joins Ivanhoe Cambridge in Edmonton

Simon and Canadian real estate company Ivanhoé Cambridge said on Jan. 20 that they are teaming up to develop Premium Outlet Collection – Edmonton International Airport. Equity firm buys KKR’s interest in Legends Outlets Kansas City

Walton Street Capital, a Chicago-based private equity fund manager, said on Jan. 12 that it has acquired from KKR & Co. the controlling interest in the Legends Outlets Kansas City (Kan.). The purchase price wasn’t available, but KKR paid $131.5 million for the property in 2013 after winning a bidding war. Tanger sells Florida center to local buyer

A Tanger outlet center in Fort Myers, Fla., was sold on Jan. 12 to Dahlmann Properties for $26 million. The cap rate was 7 percent. Steven B. Majestic sets course into outlet development

Majestic Realty, a 68-year-old development, leasing, construction and management company, plans to enter the outlet business by opening Los Angeles Outlets on property it owns in Southern California. New York & Co. plans to expand outlet channel

New York & Company reported 3Q sales of $220 million, up 4.5 percent and up 4.9 percent on a comp store basis, driven by new store openings, outlet conversions and expanded omnichannel capabilities with full ship-from-store capabilities.
