Horizon, CBL start Bluegrass outlets phase2

Horizon Group Properties and CBL & Associates broke ground April 3 on a 53,400-sf phase 2 of Outlet Shoppes of the Bluegrass in Simpsonville, Ky., less than a half hour from Louisville. Tanger increases dividend, shifts terms on sale of centers

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers increased its annual dividend on common shares by 18.8 percent to $1.14 from $0.96. The developer said this dividend increase could be augmented further, depending on its potential asset sales. Simon gets $200M Opry Mills flood recompense

Simon has won a judgment of $200 million in insurance payments for flood damage in 2010 to the 1.1 million-sf outlet megamall Opry Mills in Nashville. The Davidson County, Tenn., Chancery Court issued the ruling. The joint venture of Development Securities PLC and Rioja Developments has submitted plans for a 23,758-m2 outlet center dubbed Mill Green Designer Outlet Village in Cannock Chase, Staffordshire, England. Retail management firm WD Ltd. has acquired the 163,000-sq Dockside Outlet Centre in Chatham, Kent, for £9.1 million from Matrix.
