Italian-style outlet center opens in Shanghai

Silk Road Holdings and RDM Asia held the grand opening for Florentia Village–Shanghai Luxury Designer Outlet on Jan. 22. The center, with GLA of 538,200 sf, has more than 200 tenants. Craig Realty JV buys Tanger’s Wisconsin Dells outlet center

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers has sold its 50-percent share in Tanger Outlets Wisconsin Dells in Lake Delton, Wis., to a partnership comprising Craig Realty Group, Fortress Investment Group and the local Waterman real estate development family, according to local sources. Chico’s FAS slows growth, trims staff

Atapco ends purchase bid for original VF Outlet

Atapco Properties will not follow through on its plan to acquire the VF Outlet Center in Reading, Pa., which it had announced in September 2014. The 51-acre property is owned by Greensboro, N.C.-based VF Corp. Patrick Coggins, VP development, Atapco, told VRN, "We terminated our contract." Superdry to open outlet at Clarks Village

British youth apparel brand Superdry will open a 5,000-sf outlet store in June at Clarks Village in Street, Somerset, England. Realm manages the 185,000-sf center, which opened in 1993 and is owned by Hermes/LaSalle.
