Horizon retains DTZ to lease Malaysian center

Horizon Group Properties has partnered with the global property services agency DTZ to help lease International Outlets at Kuala Lumpur. Outlet developers duel in Connecticut

Three outlet centers are now planned in central Connecticut. The newest is a 347,000-sf center for West Haven, proposed by Gordon Group Holdings. Tanger, Simon in groundbreakings

Tanger Factory Outlet Centers has officially broken ground on Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids (Mich.). The 343,923-sf center, scheduled to open in fall 2015, is 11 miles south of downtown Grand Rapids at U.S. 131 and 84th Street in Byron Township. Retailers bullish on outlets

In their Q2 commentary, several fashion brands voiced great satisfaction on their outlet divisions, and optimism going forward. The world’s 35 largest outlet centers – those that are 500,000 sf or bigger – are mostly found in North America. Twenty-five of the world’s largest are in the U.S., and three are in Canada.
