Palm Beach Outlets kicks off 2014 openings

The Valentine’s Day grand opening of Palm Beach Outlets marked the first of 11outlet-center openings in the U.S. and Canada planned throughout 2014. During the grand opening weekend of Palm Beach Outlets, 200,000 shoppers jammed the center’s parking lots and mobbed its 100-plus stores. By the Numbers

The world’s 35 largest outlet centers – those that are 500,000 sf or bigger – are mostly found in North America. Twenty-five of the world’s largest are in the U.S., and three are in Canada. Horizon Group to develop Rentschler Field

Horizon Group Properties has entered into an agreement to develop a new outlet center in East Hartford, Conn.
