Moscow triples its outlet offer

In a matter of weeks outlet retailing in Moscow tripled, going from one outlet center to three. The 315,000-sf first phase of Vnukovo Outlet Village opened in May on Kievskoe Shosse, one of the Moscow’s most developed highways, in the Leninsky district, five miles from the Moscow ring road and one mile from Vnukovo Airport. By the Numbers

The world’s 35 largest outlet centers – those that are 500,000 sf or bigger – are mostly found in North America. Twenty-five of the world’s largest are in the U.S., and three are in Canada.
