On the heels of back-to-back grand openings of two major mixed-use developments, the Bayer Properties team arrives today at ICSC’s RECon conference in Las Vegas with a fresh viewpoint on how retail is changing and what today’s consumers are seeking.
“We are excited to be here this year surrounded by retail experts to learn from each other and discuss the future of the ever-evolving industry,” said Jeffrey Bayer, CEO and president of Bayer Properties and an ICSC trustee. “We recently opened two new developments that are already positively impacting their communities and becoming experiential destinations where people connect with family and friends.”
One is The Summit at Fritz Farm, a mixed-use destination in Lexington, Ky., which opened last month. The tenant mix includes 60 best-in-class retailers and restaurants including Whole Foods as its anchor. The Summit at Fritz Farm also includes 306 luxury apartments, modern build-to-suit of office space, and, opening in the fall, The Barn, the region’s first food hall. The Barn will showcase an assortment of small restaurant concepts from an array of accomplished local restaurateurs and serve as a tribute to Kentucky products and culinary traditions. Bayer is located at booth N2322V.
