Augusta, Ga.
The 172,000-square-foot Daniel Village is undergoing a renovation to get ready for new tenant Ace Hardware. The retailer will open a 9,100-square-foot store in February. Augusta Chronicle

Gonzalez, La.
Ascension Economic Development Corp. is spending $1.5 million to renovate Eastbank Shopping Center to make way for new tenant Ollie’s Bargain Outlet. The center is expanding to accommodate Ollie’s 28,000-square-foot floorplan. Work is expected to finish by April. The Advocate

Jackson, Miss.
A local architectural firm and entrepreneur are partnering to convert a former Rainbow Natural Grocery Cooperative building into a fitness center called Fondren Fitness. Jackson Free Press

Paramus, N.J.
Advance Realty and Invesco Real Estate are building Paramus Crossroads, a 40,000-square-foot center with 10 dining and retail tenants, on the site of a former office building. The developers expect the center to open in spring 2019. North Jersey

DeWitt, N.Y.
Developer Mike Goodfellow plans to build Cornerstone Crossing, a mixed-use complex with a 5,000-square-foot office building, a 2,500-square-foot food-and-beverage building and a four-level building with retail and apartments. Syracuse.com

Knoxville, Tenn.
Partners Development is building The Village at Lovell Crossing, a 26,600-square-foot mixed-use property with office and retail space. A 5,000-square-foot family-oriented neighborhood sports bar will anchor the center. Opening is anticipated for 2019. Knoxville News

Troy, Ohio
Harlow Builders hopes to revitalize the nearly empty, 80,000-square-foot Sherwood Shopping Centre after paying $1.7 million for the 1957-era property. “We are going after some restaurants. Some entertainment. We would love to put the grocery store back in. That's what we are going after. We want to make it a destination. Something new for Troy," said new owner Frank Harlow. WTDN

Vancouver, Wash.
Kirkland Development plans to build a mixed-use complex on a site that is currently home to two restaurants. The proposed two-building complex would include 300,000 square feet of residential space and 50,000 square feet for retail. Construction is expected to take about two years, and the project’s overall cost is estimated to be $200 million.The Columbian

Spokane, Wash.
Storage Solutions Nine Mile LLC is building a 75,000-square-foot self-storage facility with an adjacent, 10,000-square-foot retail center for a dental office and restaurants in the Nine Mile Falls area. Construction begins in March. Spokane Journal
