On September 5 ICSC held its 9th Annual Aldermanic Rooftop Event in downtown Chicago at The Godfrey Hotel Chicago.
The Illinois Government Relations Committee organized the event, which was attended by more than 110 ICSC members and 14 Aldermen.
The Program Planning Committee was led by ICSC Illinois Government Relations Chair Lawrence Falbe (Miller, Canfield, Paddock and Stone) and co-chairs included Anna Maria Kowalik (Inland Green Capital LLC) and ICSC Central Division Operations Chair Donna J. Pugh (Foley & Lardner, LLC). Jennifer Tammen (Ehlers, Inc.) was the sponsorship chair. Committee members included Todd Berlinghof (Hamilton Partners), Edward Dushman (Foresite Realty Partners, LLC), Moses Hall (Miller Chicago Real Estate), Alessandra Halliburton (KW Commercial), Melissa Noesges (Pine Tree), Jesal Patel (Patel Realty) and Jonathan Stein (Inland Real Estate Commercial Brokerage).
“The Aldermanic Rooftop Event continues to get better and better every year, and by all accounts, this one was a great success,” Falbe said. “I think Aldermen, as a group, recognize that the work of ICSC in the retail space can be an enormous benefit to them and their residents, and greatly appreciate the chance to engage with our members outside of a formal setting or development meeting. Our members are equally invested in establishing and improving their relationships with Aldermen and their staffs, and our event provides them with a fun and unique opportunity to do exactly that.”
“This event gives ICSC members the unique opportunity to meet and discuss economic development topics with many different Aldermen,” Kowalik said. “The Illinois Government Relations Committee looks forward to our tenth anniversary event next year!”
