Four members received ICSC Researcher Awards Monday to mark their contributions to studies, meetings and other efforts by the organization to track, interpret, explain and share industry knowledge.
The Career Service Researcher Award went to Thomas Bernier, senior vice president of new business & research at Bucksbaum Retail Properties, LLC, Chicago, and the late Jeannette Newton, assistant vice president of real estate research & planning at L Brands, Columbus, Ohio. Newton died in March.

Gold Medallion awards were received by Steven DeVane, senior director, restaurant development, at Chick-fil-A, Inc., Atlanta, and Simon Wallace, head of research in Europe at DWS, London.

The awards were presented at the annual ICSC Fortune Tellers Reception at the Wynn.
“These recipients join a prestigious group of researchers from North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America who have gone the extra step in sharing their time, talents and efforts with the ICSC community over the years,” said Jean Lambert, vice president of research at ICSC. “This is a small way of showing them our gratitude.”
