Infrastructure Investment

The time has come to make infrastructure investment a national priority. Sound infrastructure makes communities safer, creates jobs and grows our economy.

ICSC’s policy priorities include:

  • Strengthening the effectiveness of public-private partnerships by restoring the federal tax exemption to recipients of state and local grants (Section 118)
  • Restoring and refreshing existing federal development financing programs that allow for flexibility in infrastructure development
  • Eliminating redundancies and inconsistencies in the regulatory process and establishing deadlines for the federal permitting process in order to create certainty and encourage investment
