Value Retail News marks its 20th year as the only monthly magazine exclusively devoted to covering the outlet retailing and development industry. In a trip down memory lane, the cover story traces the publication's early beginnings as a newsletter published by a former consumer writer to its status today as part of the International Council of Shopping Centers, interwoven with a quick history of the outlet industry itself.
