1. NOT one of the industry’s outlet center real estate investment trusts
2. NOT value centers
3. NOT megamalls or Mills projects

The list does include:
- projects scheduled to open by the end of 1998 (Miromar Dev.)
- FAC Realty Trust, which was an outlet-center REIT until May
when it was reclassified as a strip-center REIT
- other REITs that don’t specialize in outlet centers.
