Student Spotlight
As an adult student who has returned to college to pursue a Bachelors of Science in Real Estate from the Robinson Business College at Georgia State University, I am faced with new challenges and rewards as compared to when I first attempted enrollment as an adolescent. However, I have gained invaluable life experiences and a sincere appreciation for the quality of higher education. Here at GSU, the professors and staff really take an active role in the teaching, mentoring, and fulfillment of our educational and professional growth. I am so proud to follow in the footsteps of so many well achieved and highly successful alumni. The southeast is so very fortunate to have the faculty of the RBC transitioning the lives of its students. The ICSC is a strong supporter of education here at the RBC and colleges/universities across North America. Through their generous scholarship programs and student memberships, they offer students a glimpse of the opportunities and accomplishments in the commercial real estate/retail sector. The knowledge and experience connected through the ICSC has been helpful in both my academic and professional lives by helping to share the best practices in the industry and fostering an environment for students to truly gain a better understanding of critical market events. It is with great pride that I share with you what ICSC has to offer our education system. I have enormous appreciation for both the Robinson Business College and the ICSC and strongly encourage others to join part in any future opportunities to be part of both. Words cannot express my gratitude for the people who continue to foster opportunities for students like me. In the face of all the challenges that life presents us with, we are empowered to achieve greatness by serving the communities in which we live with honesty, integrity, and kindness.
