ICSC offers member links

Members of ICSC seeking additional exposure for their company Websites can now link them to ICSCNET, the official site of the International Council of Shopping Centers, said Jay Starr, ICSC director of marketing.

The service, introduced in March, allows members to list their corporate Websites on ICSCNET's Industry Links page. ICSC Members can access it at
<http://www.icsc.org/me/directories.html> and follow written instructions on the screen to form the link.

The service is provided free of charge to members. A password is needed to add or change links to sites. Nonmembers may not include their Web pages, but may view the sites listed.

"Members have requested that we provide this service. This was a natural evolution of ICSCNET," Starr said.

The move allows member companies to promote their Websites in another format.

"A company member is acting as a representative, posting his or her corporate information. It is not only a service to members, but allows the general public to view a searchable database of industry Websites," said Rob Blakeley, online coordinator for ICSCNET.

ICSCNET celebrates its third anniversary this month. The site now averages 18,000 unique visitors monthly, Starr said.

There is no limit to the number of sites that can be included, he added. "We can accommodate all of ICSC's 38,000 members -- if they want."
