CB Commercial Real Estate Group has promoted John Schoditsch to sales associate from information services researcher, in the Retail Properties Group in its Schaumburg, Ill., office. He joins the firm's Chicago area retail brokerage team.

CB also announced the appointment of Jana L. Turner as president, institutional management services, in the company's property management division. Ms. Turner joined Koll in 1990 and most recently served as executive vice president and manager of CB/Koll's Western division.

CB also has promoted Lynne Brackett to vice president from senior associate in the Retail Properties Group.

Hal A. Vasvari has been appointed president of Combined Properties Inc., Washington, D.C. Mr. Vasvari was previously COO with Federal Realty Investment Trust, Rockville, Md., and has served on various ICSC committees.

Enterprise Property Group, a real estate management services company based in Toronto, has appointed Michael Mackenzie managing partner for Enterprise Retail Management Inc., the organization's Toronto-based retail operations unit.

Enterprise also appointed Don Logie to lead the company's new development services group; David Pidgeon partner, national client management; and Tom Walters partner, corporate development. Cheryl Gray has been named director of Enterprise Innovations, and Adrienne Jackson will be director of corporate communications.

Regency Realty Corp. Inc., Jacksonville, Fla., has named Janis Cortez general manager, Florida, and Todd Chase project manager. Ms. Cortez oversees property operations for operating divisions in Jacksonville, Tampa, Palm Beach and Miami.

Steve Tingle and Mark Mancuso, both vice presidents at CBL Associates Properties, have been promoted to directors of community center development for the company's Chattanooga and Boston offices, respectively. Heidi L. Cardall has joined the company as senior specialty leasing manager and Deborah A. Garvich has joined the collections division.

Symmes Maini and McKee Associates has elected Michael K. Powers as president and CEO. He was previously executive vice president and managing principal of the firm's Cambridge, Mass., headquarters.

The company also has appointed J. Timothy Grobleski as executive vice president, responsible for finance and business operations.

Charles J. Moore, the principal land use attorney for the County of Los Angeles, has been named counsel to the Los Angeles law firm of Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP. Mr. Moore has been a member of the County Counsel's Office since 1973, and has specialized in all aspects of land use planning, zoning and environmental law for 25 years.

Glimcher Properties Limited Partnership, the operating partnership of Glimcher Realty Trust, has named Stephen C. Arnsdorff to the position of vice president/director of acquisitions.

Glimcher has also named John P. Hoeller to the newly created position of senior vice president of property management. Mr. Hoeller will lead and direct the property management initiatives for the Columbus, Ohio-based company's portfolio of 120 retail properties.

Ignarri-Lummis Architects and Planners, a Cherry Hill, N.J.-based full service architectural firm, recently appointed Paul Hoyle director of business development. In this newly established position, Mr. Hoyle develops and implements the firm's marketing, sales and customer service efforts. He also supervises each project and serves as a liaison between the firm and clients.

Christopher Waizmann was recently promoted to brokerage and leasing division manager for RPL Group Commercial Real Estate, Reno, Nev. Mr. Waizmann has been with RPL since 1991, most recently as a senior associate.

Rancho Mission Viejo L.L.C., San Juan Capistrano, Calif., which is responsible for the ranching, farming, planning, development and financial management of the historic 30,000-acre Rancho Mission Viejo, has named Paul T. Johnson vice president of community development. Mr. Johnson's responsibilities include project management and residential building, specialty land and site planning, residential product design, off-site and on-site budget management, scheduling and marketing for Ladera, Orange County's newest master-planned community, preparing to break ground this summer.

Isaac Commercial Properties Inc., Lexington, Ky., has named Lora J. Riddle assistant property manager. Ms. Riddle is a licensed real estate agent specializing in every aspect of property management. She currently manages office and retail buildings in central and eastern Kentucky.

Zamias Services Inc., Johnstown, Pa., has named Anthony McMonagle Jr. and Donald S. Simpson senior leasing representatives. Mr. McMonagle was previously a mall property lease negotiator for George D. Zamias before leaving in 1991 to join Alex Kavar Jr. Real Estate Sales. Zamias also named Mark A. Wells leasing representative and Matt Delle Donne assistant to the director of research/information services. George P. Wolfe, who previously practiced real estate law at the Johnstown firm of Spence, Custer, Saylor, Wolfe and Rose, has joined Zamias as an in-house legal counsel.

John T. Ostrowski has been promoted to director of real estate by Vornado Realty Trust. He will be responsible for overseeing the leasing and operations activities for the Saddle Brook, N.J.-based company's strip shopping center properties in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Texas.

Simon DeBartolo Group, Indianapolis, has appointed Lynn Castle marketing director of Tacoma Mall, Tacoma, Wash.

Miromar Development, Montreal, has appointed Mary L. Kamien leasing executive. Ms. Kamien has a background of 10 years in the shopping center industry, with Benderson Development and The Pyramid Cos.

Mary Ellen Areaux has been named regional vice president of retail leasing at MEPC American Properties, Dallas. She will be responsible for leasing Regency Square in Jacksonville, Fla., and Cumberland Mall in Atlanta. The 1.4 million-square-foot Regency Square Mall is undergoing a two-year, $30-million renovation.

Sunbelt Management Co. has formed a West Coast office in San Diego. The new office will be responsible for all of Sunbelt's real estate services within the Western United States. Richard Reeves has been elected as president and director of Sunbelt as well as director of Nevada Investment Holdings Inc., and subsidiaries.

The Macerich Co., Santa Monica, Calif., has promoted John Genovese to senior vice president and director of real estate. The company has also promoted group controller Scott Kingsmore to the newly created position of vice president, financial planning. In his new role, he will be responsible for expanding and improving the firm's budgeting and forecasting process through increased use of technology.
