Kenneth Parent will retire as COO of The Mills Corp. effective April 1, 2006. Tom Frost, an executive vice president, leaves sooner; he retires this month. Meanwhile, Gordon Glenn joined Mills as executive vice president and general counsel. Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust hired two marketing directors. Lisa Wolstromer is responsible for the Cherry Hill (N.J.) Mall, and Lori Brotherton oversees marketing for the Moorestown (N.J.) Mall. Developers Diversified Realty Corp. promoted David Dieterle to senior vice president of leasing for the Southeast region. Valerie Hutcheson joined Dallas-based Staubach Retail as vice president overseeing the newly formed specialty retail leasing division. The Lightstone Group, Lakewood, N.J., hired Michael Phillips as director of construction. Pleasanton, Calif.-based Ross Stores promoted Lisa Panattoni to executive vice president of merchandising. Brian Jones was promoted from president to CEO of Forest City California, a Los Angeles-based division of Cleveland-based Forest City Enterprises. Colm W. Macken, who was vice president of Transpacific Development Corp., succeeds Jones as president. John Rodrigue (CQ) joined Empire Commercial Real Estate, an Ontario, Calif.-based development firm that focuses on the Southwestern U.S., as a project director. Atwell-Hicks, a development consulting firm based in Shelby Township, Ohio, hired Tony Yearego as corporate development manager. CB Richard Ellis Hawaii, Honolulu, promoted Jay J. Schalow and Rebecca J. Deren to real estate manager. Framil Valdez was promoted to senior analyst. Los Angeles-based Westwood Financial Corp. hired Scott Henard as an associate in the acquisitions department of the Dallas office. Prudential Douglas Elliman recruited Jennifer M. Baker, Richard T. Brazzano, Jeff D’Allessandro and Owen Henry as sales representatives in the New York City-based brokerage firm’s retail leasing and sales division. Combined Properties, a Washington, D.C.-based commercial real estate development firm, recruited Marianne Lowenthal as executive vice president of development. Lowenthal will oversee the national development program. Dawn Voss joined Boulder, Colo.-based Noodles & Co. as vice president of operations. MBH Architects, Alameda, Calif., hired Jeff Segal as a project architect for special projects, Mark Kao as a senior drafter for specialty retail projects, and Angelica Nunez and Ariana Chan as drafters for restaurant projects. SCI Real Estate Investments, a Los Angeles-based tenancy-in-common sponsor firm, hired 10 regional directors across the country to promote TIC business. They are Cindy Boyd and Elaine Hoffman, Chicago; Conway Brooks, Bimingham, Ala., and Nashville, Tenn.; Robert E. Dixon, Denver; O. Victor Lattanzi, Dallas; Christopher Harman, Houston and Austin, Texas; Jane Hope, Charlotte, N.C.; John B. McClatchy III, Philadelphia; Lynette Sohl, Inland Empire and Pasadena, Calif.; and Ken Yamaguchi, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe, Ariz. JBG Rosenfeld Retail, a Chevy Chase, Md.-based real estate leasing, development and management firm, promoted DeeAnn Donato and Jeff Topchik to leasing agent, and Jay Klug joined as an acquisitions and development associate. Developers Diversified Realty promoted William Cikalo to regional leasing manager of 17 centers in the Midwest.
