MEXICO…

Opening in November 2003 is Forum Culiacán, at Blvd. Carlos Salinas de Sortari, Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico. The 581,000-square-foot center, being developed by GICSA, will serve more than 1 million residents of northern Pacific Mexico, featuring retail and entertainment near the Tamazula River.

GICSA is developing Las Plazas Guadalajara, which is scheduled to open in Guadalajara in November 2004. The 377,000-square-foot center will include 155 outlet shops, restaurants, coffee shops, theaters and more.

Also set to open in November 2004 is GICSA’s Las Plazas Monterrey, again, with 155 outlet shops, coffee shops, restaurants, entertainment and theaters. The 377,000-square-foot project is a 12-minute drive from Monterrey’s city center.

GUATEMALA…

La Pradera Mall, a 330,000-square-foot center in Guatemala City, is being remodeled by Multi Proyectos, its developer.

A December 2004 completion date has been set for Pradera Concepcion, a mixed-use project in suburban Guatemala City. The first phase will consist of two office buildings and 25,000 square feet of retail. The center is being developed by Multi Proyectos, Guatemala.

Pradera Xela, A 25,000-square-foot center in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala, will grow by 25,000 square feet by the end of this year, reports its owner, Multi Proyectos, Guatemala.

EL SALVADOR…

Grupo Roble is opening Multiplaza San Salvador, a mixed-use project to include a 452,000-square-foot shopping center, a corporate office park, an amphitheater, a 250-room five-star hotel and apartments, in November 2004. RTKL Associates is designing the retail center, which will have 250 stores, including a food court, cinemas, a supermarket and casual dining.
