Los Angeles-based specialty retailer Metropark hired Karen Green as vice president of real estate and construction. She was vice president of real estate and lease administration at The Disney Stores and Disney Shopping. Jeff Olson is the new president and CEO of Miami-based Equity One. Olson, currently president of Kimco Realty’s Eastern and Western divisions, will start his new position at Equity One on Jan. 1. David Zoba joined Columbus, Ohio-based Steiner + Associates as principal and COO. Zoba, who was president of Indianapolis-based Premier Properties, has also worked for Galyan’s and Limited Brands. Jeffrey P. Thompson is the new president of Birmingham, Mich.-based development firm Robert B. Aikens & Associates. He was vice president of facilities. Redmond, Wash.-based retailer Eddie Bauer promoted Mark K. Comstock to vice president of real estate. He was director of leasing. Virginia Beach, Va.-based Divaris Real Estate named Mary McGovern senior vice president of retail. She was transaction director. Charles A. Kerecz joined Irvine, Calif.-based Johnson Capital as senior director of the New York office. He was senior vice president of Carlton Group. RadioShack Corp. named Julian Day chairman and CEO. He was CEO of Kmart Holding Corp., formerly the parent company of Kmart Corp. Before that, he spent two years at Sears, first as CFO and then COO. New York City-based Branded Concept Development hired Jeffrey Levy as associate manager of real estate. Levy was COO and senior vice president of Arco Management, Suffern, N.Y. Katz & Associates appointed Brian Katz senior vice president of the Northeast region. Before joining the Pearl River, N.Y.-based firm in 2000, he was a project manager at the Brooklyn, N.Y., office of Cleveland-based Forest City Ratner. Los Angeles-based SCI Real Estate Investments recruited Phillip A. Duke as senior vice president of national acquisitions and retail. Before this, Duke handled acquisition and disposition for CNA Enterprises, also based in Los Angeles. Further, SCI named Jane Hope vice president of sales and marketing. Northbrook, Ill.-based Next Realty brought in Eteri Zaslavsky as director of retail acquisitions. Zaslavsky was a commercial real estate loan underwriter at Allstate Investments, in Northbrook. Highland Development, a Pasadena, Calif., subsidiary of Marcus & Millichap, named Gregory N. Hoxworth CEO and president. Hoxworth was president of development and acquisitions in the Beverly Hills, Calif., office of Washington, D.C.-based Combined Properties. The firm also hired Michael J. Singelyn as director of development. He was a leasing director at Upland, Calif.-based Lewis Retail Centers.
