New York City-based Thor Equities named Margaret Tobin executive vice president of development. She was most recently a vice president of project management for New York City-based Vornado Realty Trust.

The Macerich Co. tapped its Rochester, N.Y.-based Wilmorite Properties subsidiary for several leasing, real estate and marketing executives. Douglas J. Healey joined Macerich as senior vice president of leasing, and Michael J. Nevins and William L. Cappelletti were named vice presidents of leasing. Douglas H. Morrow joined as vice president and director of construction, and Julie Romanowski, SCMD, was named vice president of marketing for the Eastern region.

Jeffrey Manelis was promoted to president at Phoenix-based developer The Pederson Group. Manelis, who joined the company in 1990 as a property manager, was the firm’s vice president and director of operations.
