Panasonic Security Systems’ WV-BP134V camera

PANASONIC SECURITY ROLLS OUT NEW CAMERA

Panasonic Security Systems Group, Secaucus, N.J., has introduced a specially priced B&W CCD camera/lens combination for general usage. The WV-BP134V unit pairs the company’s WV-BP134 camera with its WV-LZF61/2 varifocal iris lens, thereby minimizing the installation process as the cameras come prepackaged with an already compatible lens, and has been priced at $235 per unit.

HOLOPHANE UNVEILS NEW LAMP TIMER

Holophane, Newark, Ohio, has created a halogen lamp timer that the company says will reduce the potential for nonpassive end of life failure for metal hlide lamps. The HALT Automatic Lamp Time-Out works by extinguishing the metal halide lamps in luminaires for 15 minutes every week, thereby eliminating the inconvenience of manually switching the circuits on and off, and is compatible with all wattage metal halide lamps from 50 to 1,000 watts. Ruud’s Cutoff Floodlight

RUUD UNVEILS CUTOFF FLOODLIGHT

Ruud Lighting, Racine, Wis., has unveiled a new floodlight with a special computer-designed optical system. The Cutoff Floodlight (CF Series) can be tilted above horizontal, generally at a 15- to 25-degree tilt, making it ideal for outdoor lots and sporting facilities. V-Kool is offering its V-Kool applied window film to protect heat-sensitive merchandise from ultraviolet fading damage.
