Boca Raton, Fla.-based Konover South, which develops and manages retail properties in the Southeast, hired William C. Powell as vice president of asset management. Powell was regional director of property management at Columbia, S.C.-based Edens & Avant.

 

 

Gill Sallade joined Atlanta-based North American Properties as a senior development manager. Sallade held the same position at The Sembler Co., St. Petersburg, Fla. North American also hired Sallade’s colleague at Sembler, Sheri L. Ross, CSM, who was a leasing representative, as a senior leasing agent. Meanwhile, North American promoted Cynthia D. Morris to assistant leasing representative, from administrative assistant in the leasing department.

 

 

Honolulu-based A&B Properties promoted David I. Haverly from director to vice president of asset management and Richard B. Stack Jr. from director to vice president of development.

 

 

The Irvine (Calif.) Co. hired Dean L. Alstrup as a senior director and project manager overseeing capital improvement projects. He was a senior project manager for Madison Marquette Retail Services, Washington, D.C. Irvine also recruited Gregg La Cagnina, who was a vice president of portfolio operations at Madison Marquette, as a senior director of asset management.

 

 

Baltimore-based Williams Jackson Ewing promoted Michele Dawson to director of leasing from leasing agent.

 

 

Coreland Cos., a Tustin, Calif.-based commercial real estate services firm, named Sharon Shifflett regional real estate manager. Shifflett was a property manager for Douglass Emmett, a Los Angeles-based real estate investment and management firm.

 

 

Jo-Ann Stores tapped David Holmberg to head development of the Hudson, Ohio-based fabric and crafts retailer’s new superstores as executive vice president in charge of store operations. Holmberg was president of Cole National Corp.’s licensed businesses.

 

 

Kathleen Hawley joined Conshohocken, Pa.-based Fameco Real Estate as a sales associate. She was a broker for The Schultz Organization, a Woodbridge, N.J.-based retail brokerage.

 

 

Carter & Burgess, Tampa, Fla., recruited Dorinda Hall Roberts as project manager for the retail and distribution division. Roberts was manager of architectural services for Eckerd Corp.

 

 

NAI Hiffman, Oakbrook Terrace, Ill., hired Claire S. Bitautas as vice president of the retail brokerage group. Bitautas was a broker for Chicago-based Blattis & Schnur Realty.

 

 

Jerry Lee, who was CEO of MulvannyG2 Architecture since 1993, was named chairman. Mitch Smith, the Bellevue, Wash., firm’s president, succeeds Lee as CEO and also becomes a senior partner. He remains president. Ron Maddox, who was an executive vice president, was also named a senior partner, as was Ming Zhang. Zhang was senior vice president of design and now will direct Mulvanny G2’s design and international businesses.
