Fernand Perreault, chairman of Ivanhoe Cambridge, appointed John T. Riordan to the company’s board of directors. Riordan served as president and CEO of ICSC from 1986 to 2001 and as vice chairman until 2003. He is currently an ICSC Trustee for Life. Riordan also serves as a director of General Growth Properties. RED Development, Kansas City, Mo., hired José Rangel as manager of architecture and engineering and Cassie Lane as marketing coordinator. The firm also promoted Rita D’Agostino to vice president and general counsel; John Bacon to vice president of marketing and communications; Rose Angelita to director of asset management; Donna Harman to manager of tenant improvements; Joanna B. Shawver, CLS, to senior leasing associate; and Corey Ferk to marketing director of Greenway Station, a Middleton, Wis., lifestyle center. Charlotte, N.C.-based developer Crosland recruited Timothy B. Sittema as senior vice president of the retail division. He will oversee development in the Nashville, Tenn., area. North American Properties appointed Spencer Bomar vice president of real estate. The Atlanta-based firm also hired Whitney Bufford as a market analyst. Ronald S. Stockdale joined Los Angeles-based Champion Development Group as vice president of acquisitions. Martin Potts & Associates, of Newport Beach, Calif., hired Greg Holcomb as a vice president to oversee development and construction. Eileen Wall has been named leasing director at HSS Management, Skokie, Ill. Gap Inc. named Pamela B. Wallack executive vice president of BabyGap, GapKids and Gap Maternity. Buchalter Nemer, a Los Angeles law firm, named Nadav Ravid a partner in its real estate practice. Jim Keyes retired as president and CEO of 7-Eleven in November. He also stepped down from the board. In his 20-plus years at the Dallas-based convenience store chain, Keyes also held the CFO and COO positions. Toshifumi Suzuki, chairman and CEO of Seven-Eleven Japan, which owns 7-Eleven, will be acting president and CEO until a successor is found. Edward W. Moneypenny, 7-Eleven’s CFO, retired too. Stanley W. Reynolds, treasurer and vice president of corporate planning, succeeded him. Beechwood, Ohio-based Developers Diversified Realty Corp. hired William Lakios as development director. Lakios was director of retail acquisitions and development at Armstrong Development. Arrowstreet, a Somerville, Mass.-based architectural firm, appointed Scott Pollack and Robert S. Holt principals. Brad Thomas joined Staubach Retail’s consulting and managed services group as vice president of business development. Newmark Merrill Cos., of Woodland Hills, Calif., recruited Jeremy Just as managing director of Landmark Retail Group, its subsidiary representing retail tenants in Southern California. Howard Spunt will serve as COO for Landmark. Spunt, a licensed contractor, was previously president of Spectrum Construction. United Commercial Realty/ChainLinks Retail Advisors promoted Lou Miranda to executive vice president and principal at the main office in Dallas. Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Shea Properties hired Kirk Roloff as senior vice president of acquisitions and development. Roloff previously worked for Irvine, Calif.-based development firm ArchstoneSmith. Weingarten Realty Investors hired Alan Ferguson as vice president and regional director of leasing for the developer’s properties in western Louisiana, west Texas and parts of Houston. Nancy Trainor will head up the management of Donahue-Schriber’s new Las Vegas regional office.
