An
interview with CBA Mezz Cap President and CEO Marty Lanigan
in November’s Real Estate Finance Forecast contained
a sentence with a transcription error. It should have read:
“Your borrower can go to any one, or all, of our nine
lenders for a first mortgage and select the mezz-cap option.”

A December SCT story on drug chains in New York City
inaccurately portrayed Eckerd’s presence in the metropolitan
area. In March 1999 Eckerd bought Genovese’s 140 stores
in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York, of which 55 were
in New York City. Eckerd converted all the stores to the
Eckerd banner in August 2003 and now operates 66 of them
in the five boroughs.
