Westfield America Trust named David R. Froelke general manager of the 898,000-square-foot Westfield Shoppingtown North Bridge, Chicago. Froelke, who has worked for Westfield since 1999, was general manager for Westfield Shoppingtown Century City, Los Angeles.


Regency Centers promoted Scott Franklin to vice president of investments for its Pacific region, basing him in its Walnut Creek, Calif., office. Franklin was senior manager of investments.

De Rito Partners, a Phoenix development, leasing and sales firm, hired Charles R. Carlise (right) as president. Carlise was senior vice president and director of leasing at Grossman Company Properties, also in Phoenix. Meanwhile, company founder Marty De Rito took the title of CEO.

  Madison Marquette named David Schnayer general manager of the 360,000-square-foot Bay Street Emeryville (Calif.), a mixed-use center still under development. Schnayer was regional property manager at First Washington Realty, an investment adviser to CalPERS.


Donald C. Jones
joined Edison, N.J.-based Woof & Co., a retailer of purebred puppies and pet supplies, as president and CEO. Jones was senior vice president of operations at Gap and also worked at Filene’s Basement, Ikea, Macy’s and Target.


Marco A. Sessa joined Sudberry Properties, a San Diego-based real estate development and asset management firm, as vice president of development. Sessa was a project engineer for Reno Contracting, San Diego.

The Cordano Co., Sacramento, Calif., appointed Bill Andrews, CSM, head of its third-party property management services group. Andrews was Western regional property manager at Kimco Realty Corp., New Hyde Park, N.Y. Before that, he was Sacramento district manager at real estate investment adviser RREEF, and previous to that, he was director of property management at Western Properties Trust.

Tremont Realty Capital, a Boston-based national mortgage bank, appointed John Raggio managing director of its New York City office. Raggio was a managing director at Mountain Development Corp., Clifton, N.J., where he oversaw the company’s equity and debt transactions.


Sperry Van Ness, an Irvine, Calif., commercial real estate services firm, recruited Barton W. Weprin and Alex D. Graham, as senior investment advisers. The two will staff new offices in Cincinnati and Charleston, S.C., respectively. Weprin was a senior investment associate at Encino, Calif.-based Marcus & Millichap, while Graham was a broker associate at Charleston-based Palmetto Commercial Properties.

RED Development, Kansas City, Mo., named Steve Graham vice president of destination development, a new business line within the company. Graham worked for Titan Construction, Olathe, Kan. RED also named Dave Mattison general manager of the 625,000-square-foot Jefferson Pointe, Fort Wayne, Ind., and the 325,000-square-foot Greenway Station, Middleton, Wis., both of which are lifestyle centers. Mattison managed the 1.2 million-square-foot Colonie Center, Albany, N.Y.
