THE NEXT GENERATION ADVISORY BOARD is a national
strategic advisory board that assists with the direction of the Next Generation
initiative. It consists of two co-chairs, a senior advocate, two representatives
from each of the five ICSC regions and two ICSC staff.

Sean Walters has been working for 6 years in both Real Estate and Financial Services industries.
He is a dedicated, enthusiastic and motivated team member who joined the Central Region Leasing
Department at Ivanhoe Cambridge in Toronto as a Leasing Manager in 2004. His portfolio consists
of four dominant regional enclosed shopping centres totalling more than 3.3 million square feet
located in both Ontario and the Maritime provinces. Sean's role is to develop strong relationships
with retailers and to lease retail space to successful local, regional and national tenants. Prior to joining Ivanhoe Cambridge, Sean worked for several years in the Operations Department at Summit Real Estate Investment Trust. Serving as a Property Manager responsible for more than 1.5 million square feet of industrial and commercial office space, his duties included leasing, property management and budget preparation and implementation. His skills were further enhanced as a Client Relations Representative for Dynamic Mutual Funds where he gained invaluable experience concerning capital markets, investments and pension funds. Sean is an Honours graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce program at the University of Guelph and has since completed several Canadian securities related courses. Thomas J. Phillips is a Partner in the Boston office of Brown Rudnick, a full-service law
firm of over 200 attorneys with additional offices in New York City, Hartford, Providence,
Washington DC, London and Dublin. With over 18 years of practice in commercial real estate
and land use law, Tom represents many of the nation’s most prominent shopping center developers
and retailers. Tom has been a featured panelist at educational events sponsored by ICSC, the
National Retail Tenants Association and CLE International.

Tony Schmitt is a Retail Leasing Associate of LaKritz-Weber & Company in the sales and leasing department specializing in tenant and landlord representation. Since 1995, Mr. Schmitt has been directly involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate industry including leasing, development, consulting, investment sales and financing. He is a graduate of The University of Michigan. Tony is the Chair of the Detroit Next Generation Committee.

Peter began his career at The Polacheck Company six and a half years ago with the Retail Group while attending the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. During this time, he was responsible for organizing the Retail Group's annual market survey and assisting brokers with market research. After graduating with a degree in Finance, Real Estate and Urban Development, he began working as a broker with the Retail Group. As a broker, Peter specializes in shopping center leasing, representing national, regional, and local landlords and tenants in various transactions throughout Southeastern Wisconsin. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), where he co-chairs Wisconsin's and the Central Division's Next Generation Committee, Southeastern Wisconsin Commercial Association of Realtors, and is a volunteer for Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.

Heather L. Herring is currently employed as Corporate Communications and Marketing Director for
The MGHerring Group, a shopping center owner/developer based in Dallas, Texas. She began her
career in the industry for The MGHerring Group in 1998 as an Assistant Marketing Director at
Sunrise Mall in Brownsville, Texas, eventually becoming Marketing Director. Ms. Herring returned
to the Dallas office of The MGHerring Group in January, 2002, first as a Leasing Representative
and then as Leasing Manager. She assumed her current position in March, 2006. She is co-chair of
the ICSC Next Generation Advisory Group for the Southern Division and Texas State co-chair for
ICSC Next Generation. Ms. Herring is also an ICSC Educational Foundation Trustee. |

Ms. Mrozek is the director of leasing at Core Commercial Group LLC, the subsidiary of Core
Communities LLC, responsible for retail commercial management of the master-planned community of
Tradition in Port St. Lucie, Fla. She has more than ten years of leasing management experience
in retail commercial real estate including landlord and tenant representation, site selection,

Scott Burns joined Wilson Commercial Real Estate in January 1998. His focus is in the area of shopping center in-fill and new development leasing and sales of commercial properties throughout Southern California. He has a strong background in shopping center marketing strategies, development consulting services and overall retail market analysis. As a Landlord representative he has represented major developers such as General Growth Properties, Weingarten Realty Investors, Westwood Financial, Auburndale Properties and ICI Development. Scott is actively involved in the leasing and account management of over 40 shopping centers in the Wilson Commercial Real Estate listing portfolio. Mike Kumelski attended School in Tempe from 1st grade through College at Arizona State University with a major in Business Management and was a member of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity. Mike began his career in Commercial Real Estate in the spring of 1997 working with retailers and restaurants specializing in tenant site selection, land acquisition negotiation, land lease negotiation , and project leasing and sales for power and neighborhood centers throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Mike's role as Vice President of Retail Leasing for Continental Properties is to identify potential shopping center sites, negotiate site purchase agreements, secure leases for vacancies, and work with all aspects of the development including construction, legal, finance, and entitlement. Mike's industry achievements include being the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Western Region Co-Chair for Next Generation, a Board Member and Chairperson for Deal Making for ICSC, a rookie of the year and top retail producer. Peter
Eisenberg is a Principal of Lake Shore Development Corporation. The Company
focuses on urban and downtown suburban development and redevelopment of
retail and mixed-use projects. Lake Shore's current projects include the
Century Shopping Centre and The Broadway Centre, both located in the Lincoln
Park/Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. Mr. Eisenberg is actively involved
in ICSC, serving as a member of the Illinois State Committee, a Co-Chair
of the Next Generation Advisory Group, and Co-Chair of the Chicago Next
Generation Program. Mr. Eisenberg graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and earned a Juris Doctorate
degree and an LL.M. in Real Estate Law with honors from The John Marshall
Law School in Chicago. Mr. Eisenberg resides in Chicago, Illinois, with

Andy Stein is involved in all aspects of development and leasing at Freed.
He is responsible for site selection, land acquisition, and the entitlement process for development
projects. In addition, he is involved in the selection of and negotiations
with national retailers for new developments, redevelopments, and remerchandising
of existing centers. Prior to joining Freed in 2000, he worked for the Weitzman
Group in Austin, Texas in research, marketing, and real estate investment
areas. Mr. Stein is a member of the Illinois ICSC State Committee, an advisory
member to the Next Generation program, and co-chairman of Chicago ICSC's
Next Generation program. Mr. Stein is a graduate of the University of Texas

Jason Richter serves as Leasing Manager for Thor Equities, a New York based developer who owns
and manages a multi billion dollar real estate portfolio consisting of retail, office, hotel and
mixed-use assets. Richter has been with the firm since 2003 and is responsible for the firm's Florida
portfolio consisting of approximately 1.3 million square feet of retail as well as 1 million square
feet of new development in Houston, Texas. Jason has also been an integral part of Thor's refinancing,
acquisition and disposition activities. Prior to joining Thor, he founded a software development firm
that he later divested his interest in to exclusively pursue real estate opportunities. He is actively involved in ICSC, serving as co-chair of the ICSC Next Generation Advisory Group Eastern Division, and co-chair of the New York Next Generation Program Committee and a member of the New York State Committee. He is also a member of Thor’s Technology Task Force Committee and several charitable organizations including American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the San Francisco Aids Foundation. Judy Wander, CMP, is Staff Vice President, Conventions and Conferences for the International
Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), the global trade association for the shopping center
industry located in New York, NY. Judy oversees the day to day operations of the Meetings
Department and manages the ICSC planning staff of eighteen meeting professionals directly
responsible for producing over 200 conferences, programs and study tours worldwide each year.
In addition, Judy is at the forefront of leading the Next Generation program, ICSC’s fasting
growing initiative providing educational, mentoring and networking opportunities to shopping
center professionals developing their careers. She is also responsible for managing the ICSC
Volunteer Leadership appointment process and activities. Prior to joining ICSC in 1996, Judy
worked for eight years at Juran Institute, a quality management consulting company in Wilton, CT, as
their Director of Meetings and Conferences.
