General Manager

Job Description

The General Manager has full responsibility for operations and financial performance of the mall.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study; or 3 years related experience and/or training in multi-property management; or equivalent combination of education and experience in Management.  CSM and SCSM designations are preferred.
Strong leadership, financial and analytical, negotiation and sales, written and oral communication skills.  Excellent public relations abilities.  Commercial or retail property leasing, personnel management, physical plant maintenance, retail knowledge, marketing techniques preferred. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).  Potential growth opportunities require relocation.  This position requires flexibility in working hours.
