Alliance Program/Community Relations
The ICSC Alliance Program promotes public-private partnerships and works to enhance communication between the public and private sector on emerging issues that impact the retail real estate industry and the quality of life in local communities.
Public Sector + Private Sector = Economic Success
The Alliance Program is a special ICSC initiative which provides forums for the public and private sectors to network, share ideas, discuss industry issues and explore retail development opportunities.
"Becoming a member of ICSC and participating in the Alliance Program is one of the best investments a public sector organization can make. ICSC is extremely valuable to our city and to our overall retail marketing efforts.”

ICSC and the Community Relations Staff work with many national public sector and non profit organizations. In addition, many of these organizations have regional or local chapters that local ICSC program committees work with to develop and market local events.
ICSC has partnered with Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) to stimulate a dialogue between retail development participants, to address the challenges and obstacles of underserved urban markets more comprehensively, and to ultimately facilitate development in those markets.
