CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS

For more than 20 years the ICSC Foundation has been a cornerstone for many in the retail real estate industry. Established in 1988, the ICSC Foundation is the leading and most prestigious foundation for the retail real estate industry and is the non-profit public charity of the International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc. (ICSC). Our mission is to promote and reward community support efforts and provide undergraduates, graduates and retail real estate practitioners educational scholarships.

THE GROSSMAN GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP

Two $10,000 scholarships are available to full time graduate students (and part time students who are working full time), who are also ICSC members and indicate a preference for a career in retail real estate. This scholarship also covers the cost of attending the annual award ceremony at the RECon conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in May 2010. The recipients of these scholarships will be named as ICSC Foundation Grossman Graduate Scholars.

The applicant must be an active ICSC member who is or will be a graduate degree seeking candidate enrolled in the 2010 fall academic term at an accredited college or university. The scholarship is available to full time students or part time students who are working full time. A minimum of 3.0 GPA and ICSC membership is required.

THE SCHURGIN FAMILY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP

The $5,000 Schurgin scholarship is available to full time undergraduate students indicating a preference for a career in retail real estate, real estate development or shopping center leasing. This scholarship also covers the cost of attending the annual award ceremony at the RECon conference in Las Vegas, Nevada in May 2010.

The applicant must be an U.S. Citizen who is or will be a junior or senior undergraduate degree seeking candidate enrolled in the 2010 fall academic term at an accredited college or university. A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required.
