New York, October 21, 2011 –The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation is pleased to announce that Primaris REIT’s Dufferin Mall, located in Toronto, Ontario, has won the 2011 Canadian Community Support Award for its "Something to Wear" clothing drive campaign.

According to the Canadian Women’s Foundation, on any given day in Canada more than 3,000 women along with their 2,500 children are living in emergency shelters to escape domestic violence. Dufferin Mall decided to make a significant contribution to the needs of its community and asked its tenants and shoppers to join in the "Something to Wear" clothing drive with the tagline; "Some women have nothing to wear. Really."

LAS VEGAS, May 24, 2011, – The Schurgin Family Foundation Scholarship presented by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation has been awarded to Michael Bowen from the University of Georgia. Additionally, The Schurgin Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship has been awarded to Michael Arnovitz, from the University of Cincinnati. A ceremony acknowledging the scholarships took place on May 24, 2011 during ICSC’s RECon, the global retail real estate convention.

LAS VEGAS (May 24 , 2011) – Jared Toothman from Columbia Business School, New York, N.Y., and Ben Zamzow from Boise State University, Boise, Idaho, have been awarded the Charles Grossman Graduate Scholarship for 2011 by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation. The scholarships will be presented on May 24, 2011 during ICSC’s RECon, the global retail real estate convention.

NEW YORK, May 24, 2011 – The International Council of Shopping Centers Foundation is pleased to announce that 15 shopping center professionals have been awarded the John T. Riordan Professional Education Scholarship this year.　 The scholarships, which were presented during a special luncheon on May 24, 2011 at ICSC’s RECon, The Global Real Estate Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada, encourages furthering the career development of retail real estate professionals through attending ICSC’s professional development schools at no cost.

Las Vegas, May 23, 2011, – Presented by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation, The Albert Sussman International Community Support Award recipient for 2011 is Developers Diversified Realty’s Buena Park Downtown Shopping Center of Buena Park, Calif. for their "Giving Children Hope" campaign.

LAS VEGAS, May 23, 2011, – Devony Jackson of Cleveland, Ohio is the honored recipient of the Mary Lou Fiala Fellowship for 2011, awarded by the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation. The award was presented on May 23, 2011 in Las Vegas during ICSC’s RECon, the global retail real estate convention.

New York, February 16, 2011 – The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation today announced that Kieran P. Quinn, managing director, Guggenheim Partners and chairman of the ICSC Foundation, donated $25,000 to the ICSC Foundation to endow the Kieran P. Quinn Villanova University Undergraduate Award.

New York, November 15, 2010 – The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation announced today that 24 schools have been awarded the 2011 Undergraduate Real Estate Award. These undergraduate schools were selected based on an overall rating that included its number of ICSC student members, academic ranking, strength of real estate program, industry involvement, faculty investment, real estate clubs and ICSC conference participation.

NEW YORK (May 10, 2010) - The International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) Foundation is pleased to announce that Carren Ballenger of Dallas, Texas has been selected to be the first Mary Lou Fiala Fellowship recipient. Carren will be honored as the Fiala Fellow on May 24, 2010 in Las Vegas during ICSC’s RECon, the global retail real estate convention.
