L. Michael Foley has been active in many aspects of the real estate industry over the past 35 years. He is the principal officer of L. Michael Foley & Associates, a consulting firm whose current focus is on resort development in Mazatlon, Mexico. He is the retired Chairman of BRE Properties, a NYSE traded multi-family REIT. He was Executive Vice President and CFO, of Coldwell Banker Residential after it was sold by Sears. While at Sears he was Chairman of Sears Savings Bank, Senior Executive Vice President of the Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, and Executive Vice President of Homart Development Co., the shopping center development arm of Sears. He played an active role in General Growth’s later acquisition of Homart. Earlier in his career he was Vice President Finance at Bell and Howell, and Vice President Diversified Real Estate at Chrysler Realty Corporation. He has been active in the ICSC, serving as a Trustee from 1984 to 1990, as a Regional Vice President for the Midwest, and as a Trustee and now Chairman of the ICSC Foundation. He attended the University of Michigan where he received a BS in Engineering, and Harvard Business School where he received an MBA. He and his wife, Pamela, live in La Jolla, California.

Valerie Cammiso joined the International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc. (ICSC) as the executive director for its Foundation in October 2007. Ms. Cammiso is responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the ICSC Foundation. She is working with ICSC members and staff to create a foundation that has relevance to the retail real estate industry.
Since 1999, Ms. Cammiso served as director of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS), a nonprofit association for risk managers with approximately 4,000 corporate and 10,000 individual managers internationally. During her tenure with RIMS, Ms. Cammiso worked closely with the Executive Director to develop programs and services for its members. At RIMS she established new benefits for members, designed benchmarking surveys, established international chapters, managed the volunteer network of over 1,000 people and created new categories of membership.
Prior to her position with RIMS, Ms. Cammiso was with LaSalle Partners, where she was an accounting coordinator, and Kimco Realty Corporation where she worked in the leasing department. Ms. Cammiso is a graduate from the State University of New York at Stony Brook with a BA in sociology.

MICHAEL P. KERCHEVAL is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). He joined ICSC in January 2000 and was appointed to the position of President and CEO in May 2001, becoming only the third CEO in the association’s fifty year history. In this role he is responsible for the day-to-day management of ICSC’s global operations and carrying out the association’s strategic objectives. Prior to joining ICSC, Mr. Kercheval worked for 20 years in real estate investment banking, most recently as a senior executive with Lend Lease Real Estate Investments.

MALACHY KAVANAGH is Staff Vice President, Communications and External Affairs for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). As Staff Vice President, Mr. Kavanagh is responsible for planning, coordinating and expediting all public relations activities that are designed to raise awareness of the financial strengths and social contributions the shopping center industry makes to the communities they serve. As spokesperson for the association/industry, Mr. Kavanagh responds to media inquires and craft responses that position the shopping center industry in a positive light.
Prior to joining ICSC, Mr. Kavanagh was Manager, Communications and Special Events for Shadow Broadcast Services, a content provider to radio and television stations in nine U.S. cities. After graduating Mercy College, Dobbs Ferry, New York with a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Media, Mr. Kavanagh started his career as a reporter and has worked on numerous publications.
Mr. Kavanagh resides in Cortlandt Manor, NY with his wife, Beth, and their two daughters.

Michael McCarty currently holds the position of Senior Vice President, Research and Corporate Communications. He oversees the company’s real estate and consumer research programs, and the investor relations and public relations departments. He assumed his present duties in January 2001.
McCarty joined Simon in 1983 as Director of Research. He was named to Senior Vice President in 1990. Prior to joining Simon, McCarty was the Research Manager of Chicago-based Homart Development Co. Prior to this, he held the position of Research Director of Federated Department Stores in Cincinnati and Research Manager of May Department Stores in St. Louis.
Outside affiliations include the ICSC, as a full member, and the ULI, as a full member.
McCarty earned both his M.B.A. and B.B.A. degrees from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and resides in Indianapolis with his wife, Karen Gentleman, and their three children.

With more than 30 years in the commercial real estate arena, Beverly spent the bulk of her career at Equitable Real Estate Investment Management, Inc. / Lend Lease Real Estate Investment Management, Inc., one of the premier real estate investment advisory firms. Commencing in 1973 in Equitable’s appraisal training program, she gained experience in all disciplines of the company’s debt and equity businesses, working with all asset classes and rising to the position of Vice President.
From 1990 until 2003, Beverly focused exclusively on asset management of the retail portfolio and advanced to Senior Vice President / Principal. Her responsibilities included the national retail portfolio for Prime Property Fund (PPF) which included Dadeland Mall in Miami.
In June 2005, Beverly and Daryl Mangan formed Retail Property Solutions, LLC (RPS) to provide retail real estate advisory and consulting services to developers, owners, lenders and municipalities. Assignments have included strategic planning, asset positioning, remerchandising, redevelopment, due diligence, anchor store lease negotiations, retail viability assessment and ground-up development projects.
Beverly currently serves as a trustee for the ICSC Foundation and is also a member of the Government Relations Committee. She has been an active member of the Fall Conference Program Committee since 2001 and served as Chair of the 2002 Conference. Along with her business partner, she is an active faculty member of the ICSC Executive Learning Series. Additionally, she has moderated or been a panel member for ICSC and was an instructor at both University of Shopping Centers and The John T. Riordon School for Professional Development.

JOHN T. RIORDAN

In 2001, John stepped down from a 15 year term as President and CEO of ICSC. At the same time he was chosen as the Thomas G. Eastman Chairman of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Real Estate. In 2003, ICSC announced the renaming of its professional development school as the John T. Riordan ICSC School for Professional Development. Riordan has served on the advisory boards of the MIT/Center for Real Estate, the Center for Real Estate of the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the Business School of Baruch College of the City University of New York. He is a director of General Growth Properties and Ivanhoe Cambridge. He has been elected a trustee for life of ICSC.

Glenn J. Rufrano is Chief Executive Officer of Centro US and a member of Centro Properties Group’s (ASX:CNP) Executive Committee. Until its acquisition by Centro Properties Group in April 2007, Mr. Rufrano served as Chief Executive Officer of New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc., as well as a member of the Company’s Board of Directors. Under his leadership, New Plan was transformed into one of the nation’s largest public real estate companies, focusing on the ownership and management of over 460 community and neighborhood shopping centers encompassing approximately 68 million square feet of retail space. Mr. Rufrano currently serves on a number of boards at New York University’s Real Estate Institute, where he is an adjunct professor, and is a trustee, member of the Executive Committee and Treasurer and Secretary of the International Council of Shopping Center. Jean Schlemmer is executive vice president and chief corporate development officer for General Growth Porperties, Inc. She is responsible for GGP's organizational and administrative iniatives including sustainability and markerting.
Ms. Schlemmer graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Journalism. She spent two years working as a reporter and editor at the Mexico City News and returned to the univeristy for graduate work in American Studies.
She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the ICSC Foundation, the Urban Land Institute and has served on two ULI Advisory Studies panels for Anaheim, California, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Ms. Schlemmer is a member of the advisory board to the Univeristy of Minnesota athletic department and is on the Board of Directors for the Ounce of Prevention Fund, an organization that invests in the healthy development of at-risk infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families.

PETER SHARPE
Peter Sharpe is President and Chief Executive Officer of The Cadillac Fairview Corporation Limited, a company wholly owned by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan Board. Peter is responsible for Cadillac Fairview’s growth strategy in support of the Teachers’ long-term investment focus. Peter has held various positions of ever increasing responsibility within Cadillac Fairview since 1984.
Mr. Sharpe is the President of the Real Property Association of Canada board. Additionally, he is
Director of the Sunnybrook Foundation board.

Thomas Consultants’ success is based on the its mandate of “making projects work”. Mr. Thomas sits on the Board of Trustees of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in New York. He also sits on their Foundation Board. In addition, he is an ICSC Judge for the International Design Awards. In terms of other board positions, Mr. Thomas is a Director of Coast Appliances Ltd. and former Director of Downtown Parking Corporation; CityXpress.com; Urban Development Institute; Vancouver Opera and Future Shop.

ERIC ZORN
Eric is responsible for Wal-Mart’s real estate operations. He joined Wal-Mart in 1993 as Regional Vice President, Operations. In 1997, he was named Vice President, Wal-Mart Realty. Eric was promoted to Senior Vice President of Wal-Mart Realty in March 1999. In February 2003, Eric was named President of Wal-Mart Realty and became an Executive Vice President in September 2005.
Prior to joining Wal-Mart, Eric spent 22 years with Jamesway Corp. as Senior Vice President of Administration. He also served as President of Omnia Protective Services.
Eric is a Trustee for the International Council of Shopping Centers and also serves on the St. Mary's Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees in Rogers, Arkansas. Additionally, he is a Foundation Board Member for Professional Women in Construction in New York City.
Eric attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Jerry White joined Grubb & Ellis / The Winbury Group in 2007. Jerry’s primary focus since 1976 has been in
leasing, developing and managing retail properties. His experience ranges from Kansas to Long Island, New
York, from strip centers to mega-regional malls. In addition, he has been a Trustee of the International
Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Chairman of the ICSC Foundation and a Judge for the International
Design Award. He is also a board member of Hillcrest Bank, and serves on its Executive Loan and Audit
Committees.
Jerry began his real estate career with Copaken, White & Blitt as a tenant coordinator at Rockaway Town
Square Mall in Rockaway, New Jersey. He was active in leasing, development, marketing and management
in malls including Oak Park Mall, Bannister Mall, Indian Springs Shopping Center, Mission Center in Kansas
City, Eastland Mall and Hickory Point Mall in Central Illinois, Loehmann’s Plaza’s in St. Louis and Long Island.
In 2005, he conceived of RAAF, a real estate acquisition fund which raised $15,000,000 in equity to acquire
retail and apartment assets. In his roles with these properties, Jerry dealt with department stores including
Sears, Kohl’s, Macy's (Famous Barr), JC Penney, Dillard's, Von Maur and Nordstrom's. Further, he has
worked with many of the national specialty retailers and worked to achieve zoning approval and financial
public-private partnerships in these developments.
Prior work experience includes Midwest Research Institute, City of Kansas City Missouri and The University
of Texas.
