The Polish Council of Shopping Centers (Polska Rada Centrów Handlowych; PRCH) was established in Cannes at the Mapic 2002, with the support of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
The PRCH sees a strong demand and need for professional references. Where all of the companies are receiving regularly the performance analysis from internal departments, they cannot evaluate the real results of their efforts due to the lack of national, regional or activity bench-marking.
In 2002 there were over 120 Shopping Centers in Poland with many other projects in the pipe-line. As customers the Poles have enthusiastically adopted this new shopping and leisure experience, however Shopping Centers are often badly treated and misunderstood by both the local Politicians and the press.
By collaborating with the different national Shopping Center Councils, ICSC and the POHID, the PRCH will endeavor to further our profession and promote our successes, not only in Poland but also throughout Europe.
