Peruvian Shopping and Entertainment Centers Association (ACCEP)
ACCEP, Association of Shopping and Entertainment Centers of Peru. It was created in June of 2001 and is the organization who agglutinates and represents the interests of the Shopping Centers industry in Peru. Like all associations, ACCEP is a free and independent non profit organization. At the moment the ACCEP is confomed by 10 Shopping Centers: Jockey Plaza, Larcomar, Plaza San Miguel, Primavera Park Plaza, Sur Plaza Boulevard, Mega Plaza, Minka, Real Plaza, Malls Peru and El Quinde. Also, most of its members are part of the International Council of Shopping Centers, (ICSC), the organization whose primary target is to represent the interests of the Shopping Centers industry world-wide. The Shopping Centers have become the heart of many communities and districts, since they are his rallying point. They are a place where all the generations can be joined to buy, to entertain themselves, to walk or simply to spend a good moment. They have already become an important part of many people`s lives in Peru. It is important to mention that tenants of the members of ACCEP altogether sell more than US$ 1,200 million per year and employ directly an average of more than 30,000 persons.
