Learn the nuts and bolts of operating your shopping center more effectively. This program will show you how all the components fit in a shopping center marketing director's profession. Learn the fundamentals of merchandising, economics, and leasing strategies to effectively impact the income and retail productivity of your center.
Increase your value as a shopping center manager by enhancing those skills that will help you maximize your center's net operating income and long-term center value. *MARKETING AND MANAGEMENT CLASSES ONLY IN ARIZONA WILL BE OFFERED IN TWO SESSION CYCLES. SESSION A WILL BEGIN ON SUNDAY AT 1:00PM AND CONCLUDES ON THURSDAY AT 4:30PM. SESSION B WILL BEGIN ON MONDAY AT 8:00AM AND CONCLUDE ON FRIDAY AT 11:30AM.

*Classes in MICHIGAN will be offered as one session cycle “B” session. Session “B” will begin on Monday and conclude on Friday.

Class Hours: All classes run Monday through Thursday during the hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and Friday, 8:00 am - 11:30 am. There will be a 15-minute refreshment break at 9:30 am and at 2:30 pm.

The typical Institute certificate program is five days in duration with two 3-1/2 hour sessions a day, except one day with a single 3-1/2 hour session. Activities are varied, ranging from formal lectures, class discussions and workshops to informal exchanges of information. One of the great benefits of attending is the opportunity for networking with colleagues.

Note: ICSC will mail your certificate of completion after your attendance and the fulfillment of all course requirements has been verified. Individuals who miss one or more classes will not receive a completion certificate.
