A Post-Asia Expo ICSC Educational Study Tour of Shopping Centres in China will take place from 17-24 October 2009.
The study tour group will visit shopping centres and retail streets in Beijing, Nanjing, Danyang, Suzhou and
Shanghai. We will meet with shopping centre management and local officials (in the case of Danyang, for investment
opportunity information), to learn more about the retail real estate market in some of China's most dynamic and
historic cities. Registration is limited to the first 30 paid registrants and includes 3 nights accommodations at
the Pan Pacific Singapore (check-in 14 October) and registration for the ICSC Asia Expo 2009. Please see
www.icsc.org/2009CST1 for brochure and registration information.
Following the Post-Asia Expo Study Tour and starting in Shanghai, an ICSC Tour of Emerging Retail Real Estate
Opportunities in China will be organized from 24-28 October 2009, visiting Harbin, Daqing, Shenyang and Yingkou.
Tour registrants will visit second- and third-tier cities as a group to meet with city officials, see existing and
potential shopping center sites and learn of retail real estate development opportunities. We will learn how the
economic attributes of some of China’s oil-rich and port cities make them ripe for retail real estate expansion.
Registration is limited to the first 15 paid registrants.
Please see www.icsc.org/2009CST2 for brochure and
registration information.
Translation will be provided (Chinese - English) on both Tours and for the one-day ICSC 2009 China Investment &
Retail Development Forum that is included on 19 October in Beijing for Educational Study Tour participants to learn
more about the China market. This 19 October Forum at The Peninsula Beijing is also available for separate fee.
Please see www.icsc.org/2009CIR for more information.
