ICSC FUTURE IMAGE ASIA ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION

Envisioning the Future of Shopping in Asia

We invite you to dare to dream and envision what the architectural innovations of the shopping centre of the future in Asia will be through the ICSC Future Image Asia Architecture Competition.

The ICSC Future Image Asia Architecture Competition allows you to envision the Asia shopping environment of the future which will inspire and entertain the retail real estate industry with out-of-the-box, innovative ideas. Ideas are not limited to design and architecture but may include any aspect—specific or general—of the retail continuum. Awards will be presented for the following concepts: The Mall Environment; The Shopping Experience; The Merchandise Mix; Dining and Entertainment; Parking and Transit; Green; and General Brilliance and Innovation.

The ICSC Future Image Asia Architecture Competition is open to all architecture professionals worldwide who are members of ICSC. All submissions will be exhibited in the Future Image Gallery during ICSC’s Asia Expo on 14 -16 October 2009 in Suntec City, Singapore. Winners will be announced and awards presented during the conference and featured in an article in ICSC’s Shopping Centers Today.

The ICSC Asia Shopping Centre Awards 2009 Call for Entries

The premier recognition of excellence within the region’s shopping centre industry, as determined by a panel of top industry professionals.

The ICSC Asia Shopping Centre Awards will be presented at the ICSC Asia Expo for outstanding achievement in marketing and design.

WHO SHOULD ENTER

Awards will be given for outstanding achievement in marketing and design/development of retail properties. Entrants will include shopping centre owners, developers, management companies, architects and designers, and retailers. Judges will review eligible submissions online and score them confidentially in a process managed and monitored by ICSC, the global trade and professional association for the retail property industry.

WHY YOU SHOULD ENTER

For many years, in various competitive programs, ICSC has honored the shopping centre industry’s most cutting-edge properties, innovative solutions and creative responses to market trends. Now, ICSC is focusing that same competitive template on Asia, site to many of the 21st century’s most dynamic retail trends.
